Our dried cape gooseberries, sometimes called "golden berries” or physalis,  known as Entuntunu in Uganda where they are grown and processed. They are like a tangy raisin, not only good as a healthy snack on their own, but also a great taste enhancer in breakfast cereal or for cakes, particularly good in Lemon Drizzle cake.  They contain a good proportion of vitamin C, more than lemons, so boosting immunity with antioxidants. They contain good levels of iron and vitamin A, which are good for eye health. Due to the presence of phyto-chemicals such as polyphenols and carotenoids, cape gooseberries can also regulate high blood pressure levels. They are also high in calcium and phosphorous, good for bone health. They are low in fat and calories, but contain soluble fibre like fructose, which can be beneficial for diabetics, as well as good for digestion

A great combination of wholesome crunchy plain cashews from Mozambique and the tangy raisin-like dried cape gooseberries, known as Entuntunu in Uganda where they are grown and processed. This combines the protein, mineral and anti-bacterial properties of cashews with the high levels of vitamin C, vitamin A, polyphenols/carotenoids and soluble fibre of cape gooseberries.

Naturally dried and powdered leaves of Moringa Oleifera, also known as ”the Miracle Tree”, can be sprinkled in sauces, smoothies, cakes or cereals including porridge. It contains 92+ nutrients, 47 anti-oxidants, 36 anti-inflammatories and 18 amino acids ie a major source of protein.  By weight, the powder contains 17 times the calcium of milk, 15 times the potassium of bananas, 10 times the Vitamin A of carrots, 9 times the protein of yoghurt, 4 times the cholorophyl of wheatgrass, and 25 times the iron of spinach.  Grown and processed organically in Uganda.

Flour from the Jackfruit, grown and processed at the source of the Nile in Uganda, has a high protein content and is rich in several types of antioxidants. It also contains some of almost every vitamin and mineral that you need, as well as a decent amount of fibre.

Arabica coffee beans from the fertile high altitude volcanic soils of Eastern Uganda, specially handled to bring out the best taste and aroma available in Medium and Dark roast blends in 250g, 500g and 1kg packs.
